I first became passionate about photography while living in Japan.
I used a Minolta film camera XD-11 in Tokyo and took classes at Yodobashi with Canon representatives.
In Seattle I was mentored by Fred Nick of the University of Washington, director of the CSSCR Laboratories.
At the University of North Dakota I teach Communication 319 Digital Imaging courses along with Adobe Creative Suite training.
My current Camera bodies are a Canon 7D (gripped) and a 5DmkIII (also gripped).
I use the following lenses:
I process in Lightroom5 with Nik Plugins and move between LR5 and Photoshop 6.
For hosting I use Zenfolio with direct export from Lightroom via the Jeffrey Freidl plugin.
I use Manfrotto tripods, Lowepro camera backpacks and holsters, and B&W UV Haze filters.
